China Train Booking app is released by CHINA HIGHLIGHTS INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL SERVICE CO.,LTO. We focus on offering ticketing service since 2015. The security of your personal information is important to us.
- We use Alipay, Wechat pay, Amap to provide payment service and navigation service.

We collect the following personal information from you:
(1) Contact Information such as name, email address, phone number.
(2) Billing Information such as credit card number, and billing address. We do not save your billing information. It will be deleted automatically after payment.
(3) Passport, Chinese ID, travel permit from Hong Kong / Macau / Taiwan.
- We collect your personal information after accessing your permission of camera, IMEI, and MAC. The personal information we collect will be used for ticket booking only.
- We integrate SDK of com.alipay, including Alipay, Ali Passenger Code, Ali Sesame Credit Real-name Certification, Sesame Seed Certification. We only use the SDK to provide you payment service via Alipay and secure your payment safety. Your personal information of payment on Alipay will not be saved by us.

We quote based on the ticket price setting by the China Railway official plus certain service fee.
(1) The price of a seat ticket is fixed. There is no price difference for any seat of the same seat class.
(2) There is a slight price difference among the upper, middle, and lower bunk. Our price of a sleeper ticket is quoted by the lower bunk. Due to the online random distribution of bunks, we will take the benefit no matter which bunk will be issued, except for bunks on a high speed train (No. G/D).
(3) For a sleeper ticket on a high speed train (No. G/D), we quote based on the lower bunk. As there is a relatively big price gap between the upper bunk and the lower bunk, we will refund the price difference only if we issue an upper sleeper.

Booking with a valid document
(1) A passenger can use a valid passport, a travel permit from Hong Kong / Macau / Taiwan, and a Chinese ID to book a train ticket via China Train Booking app. Please ensure your personal document is valid and not expired.
(2) Please make sure that all travelers' passports numbers or any other ID numbers that are used to book train tickets are exactly the same as on the corresponding passports or other personal documents.
(3) Passenger who holds a travel permit from Hong Kong / Macau / Taiwan to book a train ticket must use identical characters as on the document.
(4) Any mistyping of names or passport numbers may cause the rejection to enter into a railway station. In such a case, you will lose the ticket(s) that has/have been booked with mistyped names or passport numbers without any compensation. China Train Booking will hold no responsibility for the failure of board in this situation.
- Booking with an invalid personal document
(1) If your
passport or travel permit has expired, please renew your passport first before making a train ticket reservation. A ticket booking that used an expired passport will cause rejection to enter into a railway station.
(2) If your
passport or travel permit has been renewed, please correct the passport or travel permit numbers in the app before you book a new ticket.
(3)
If you have booked a ticket with an ID number on an invalid document:
a. If the ticket has not been issued yet, please cancel the existed booking. Cancelation before we issue your ticket(s) is free.
b. After the ticket has been issued successfully:
If your old passport has expired, your ticket is not valid anymore. You need to inform us to cancel your ticket online before the departure time and buy a new ticket with your new passport.
After the departure time, we will be unable to cancel your ticket(s) and you will not get any refund for the invalid ticket(s).
- Please check the price details before making a reservation at the time of booking. Once you have paid, we will not refund any price difference or service fee after the ticket(s) is/are issued successfully.
- We hold no responsibility if we fail to issue your ticket(s) due to ticket insufficiency. In this situation, we will help you book another available train or fully refund your payment based on your inquiry. We will not upgrade your seat for free or bear any cost relating to your other expenses.
- Unpaid
The status of “Unpaid” means that you have not finished the payment process yet.
We will start to purchase your ticket(s) only after we have received your full payment.
If your booking keeps showing as “Unpaid” after you have paid, please feel free to contact us to correct your booking status.
- Paid
The status of “Paid” means we have already received your booking request and payment.
The pre-sale period of China train tickets is usually
15 days before the departure date (sometimes it changes based on the rail adjustment of China Railways). China Train Booking will start to purchase your ticket(s) as soon as the tickets are released online.
However,
“Paid” does not guarantee that you will receive a ticket voucher in the next step. As China train tickets are always selling too quickly, we may be unable to issue your ticket(s) after receiving your payment. In such a case, China Train Booking will fully refund you.
- E-ticket
The status of "E-ticket" means you have booked e-ticket(s) in the booking.
No need to print or collect the train ticket(s), you can board the train with only your passport or ID.
- Order Cancel
The status of “Order Cancel” means you have canceled the booking.
However,
it does not mean your booking was canceled successfully. We will process your cancelation manually after receiving your request.
a. If canceled successfully, you will receive our email stating that your booking was canceled and you are being refunded.
b. If your cancelation is not accepted by China Railway for a reason, you will receive our email with detailed instruction to help you cancel your ticket(s) on your own.
- Completed
The status of “Completed” means the entire booking process is finished. There won't be any refund occurred afterwards.
- China Train Booking provides free seat selection on a high speed train (No.G/D/C). However, in the situations below, we are not able to ensure that you are allocated your preferred seat(s).
a. When there are less than 20 tickets left.
b. When your preferred seat has been occupied.
b. When the departure date is within 7 days.
- If you book a sleeper ticket, you will be randomly allocated to an upper sleeper, a middle sleeper, or a lower sleeper.
- All train ticket(s) in China mainland are E-ticket(s).
- All passengers could use their valid passports / travel permits / Chinese ID cards to board a China train.
- Service fee is not refundable after we issue your ticket(s). That is to say, if your booking status has turned to “E-ticket” and “Completed”, we will not refund the service fee after your cancelation.
- The refund amount is subject to the booking policies of China Railway and China Train Booking.
- A cancelation can be made in the app, by email, or by phone (at least 24 hours before departure). We will send you an email about the ticket cancelation after receiving China Railway's approval.
- Bookings canceled before the payment is made will not incur a cancelation fee.
- Bookings canceled before the ticket(s) is/are issued are 100% refundable, but payment by credit card or PayPal requires a 3% transaction fee, which is charged by banks and PayPal.
- Bookings canceled after the ticket(s) has/have been issued:
(1) E-tickets in China mainland (Except for Lhasa train ticket)
a. A ticket cancelation made
more than 9 days before the departure time will incur a
5% cancelation fee of the ticket fare.
b. A ticket cancelation made
within 49 hours to 8 days before the departure time will incur a
10% cancelation fee of the ticket fare.
c. A ticket cancelation made
within 25 hours to 48 hours before the departure time will incur a
20% cancelation fee of the ticket fare.
d. A ticket cancelation made
within 24 hours before the departure time will incur a
30% cancelation fee of the ticket fare.
(2) For Lhasa Tickets
For the cancelation of tickets to or from Lhasa: the cancelation fee is
50% of the ticket value for a successful booking.

China Train Booking holds no responsibility for any passenger who misses a train. A passenger can change his/her ticket to a next available train at a train station counter by himself.
If not, the ticket is no longer valid, and the passenger cannot receive a refund from China Railway or China Train Booking.
- Ticket windows in most train stations are open 24/7.
- It is recommended that passengers arrive at the train station 1 hour before departure and check-in with valid personal document(s).
- During public holidays and weekends, we suggest you arrive at the train station 1.5–2 hours before departure.
- Ordinary passengers: 20 kilograms (44 pounds)
- Children with a half-price ticket ( aged 2-13 ) : 10 kilograms (22 pounds)
- The total length of each item cannot exceed 160 cm, unless it is rod-shaped.
- Note: The above limitations are not applicable to wheelchairs, which can be taken onto a train for free.
- We truly regret that some uncontrollable situations may interrupt your travel experience. China Train Booking, however, shoulders no responsibility over the failure in obtaining tickets due to these uncontrollable situations:
(1) Due to railroad or station construction, operational deployment, or the interim adjustment of train cars and seats without any prior notice regarding seat rearrangement and price differences.
(2) Certain train routes might be canceled without any prior notice.
(3) Severe whether causes a suspention of train service.

我们按照中国铁路官方制定的票价。
(1) 座位票的价格是固定的。
同一舱位的任何座位均无价格差异。
(2)上铺、中铺、下铺价格略有差异。
我们的卧铺票价格是按下
铺报价的。由于网上随机分配铺位,除高铁铺位(G/D号)外,无论发放哪种铺位,我们都会受益。
(3)高铁卧铺票(G/D号)按下铺报价。
由于上铺和下铺的价差较大,只有开上铺时我们才会退还差价。

凭有效证件订票
(1)旅客可凭有效
护照、港澳台通行证和中国身份证件通过中国火车票APP预订火车票。请确保您的个人文件有效且未过期。
(2)请确保所有旅客的护照号码或用于预订火车票的任何其他身份证件号码与
相应护照或其他个人证件上的号码
完全一致。(3)持港澳台通行证的
旅客
预订火车票时,必须使用与证件上一致的字符。
(4) 姓名或护照号码输入错误可能导致火车站被拒绝进入。
在这种情况下,您将丢失因输入错误的姓名或护照号码而预订的机票,而无需获得任何赔偿。中铁订票对于这种情况下的乘车失败不承担任何责任。
- 使用无效的个人证件进行预订
(1)如果您的
护照或旅行证已过期
,请先更新护照,然后再预订火车票。使用过期护照订票将导致被拒绝进入火车站。
(2)如果您的
护照或旅行证已更新
,请在预订新机票前在应用程序中更正护照或旅行证号码。
(3)
如果您使用无效证件上的身份证号码订票
a.
如果尚未出票,请取消已有预订。在我们出票之前取消是免费的。
b.
出票成功后:
如果您的旧护照已过期,则您的机票不再有效。
您需要在出发时间前通知我们在线取消您的客票,并凭您的新护照重新购买客票。
出发时间过后,我们将无法取消您的机票,并且您将无法获得无效机票的任何退款。
- 请在预订时查看价格详情。您一旦付款,出票成功后,我们将不退还任何差价或服务费。
- 若因客票不足而未能出票,我们不承担任何责任。在这种情况下,我们将根据您的询问帮助您预订另一趟可用的火车或全额退款。我们不会免费为您升级座位,也不会承担与您其他费用相关的任何费用。
- 未付
“未付款”状态表示您尚未完成付款流程。
只有在收到您的全额付款后,我们才会开始购买您的门票。
如果您的预订在付款后仍显示为“未付款”,请随时联系我们更正您的预订状态。
- 有薪酬的
“已付款”状态表示我们已经收到您的预订请求和付款。
中国火车票的预售期一般
为出发日期前
15天(有时会根据中国铁路的线路调整而有所变化)。
火车票在线发售后,中国火车票预订中心将立即开始购买您的车票。
但
“已付费”并不能保证您在下一步中一定会收到门票券。
由于中国火车票销售速度总是太快,我们可能无法在收到您的付款后为您出票。在这种情况下,China Train Booking 将全额退款给您。
- 电子客票
“电子客票”状态表示您在预订中已预订电子客票。
无需打印或领取火车票
,仅凭护照或身份证件即可乘车。
- 订单取消
“订单取消”状态表示您已取消预订。
但这
并不意味着您的预订已成功取消。
我们将在收到您的请求后手动处理您的取消。
a.
如果取消成功,您将收到我们的电子邮件,说明您的预订已取消并且正在退款。
b.
如果您的退票由于某种原因不被中国铁路接受,您将收到我们的电子邮件,其中包含详细说明,以帮助您自行取消车票。
- 完全的
状态“已完成”表示整个预订流程已完成。
之后将不会发生任何退款。
- China Train Booking 提供高速列车(G/D/C 号)的免费选座服务。但是,在以下情况下,我们无法确保为您分配您的首选座位。
a.
当剩余票数不足20张时。
b.
当您的首选座位已被占用时。
c.
出发日期在 7 天内时。
- 如果您预订卧铺票,您将被随机分配到上卧铺、中卧铺或下卧铺。
- 中国大陆所有火车票均为电子客票。
- 所有旅客均可凭有效护照/旅行证/中国身份证登上中国列车。
- 我们出票后,服务费不予退还。也就是说,如果您的预订状态已变为“电子客票”和“已完成”,您取消预订后我们将不会退还服务费。
- 退款金额以中国铁路、中国火车票订票政策为准。
- 您可以在应用程序中、通过电子邮件或电话取消(至少在出发前 24 小时)。获得中国铁路总公司批准后,我们将向您发送有关退票的电子邮件。
- 付款前取消的预订不会产生取消费。
- 在出票前取消的预订可 100% 退款。
- 出票后取消的预订:
(1)中国大陆电子客票(拉萨火车票除外)
a.出发时间前
9天以上
取消机票,将收取票价
5%的退票费。
b.
出发前
49小时至8天内
取消机票,将收取票价
10%的退票费。
c.
出发前
25小时至48小时内
取消机票,将收取票价
20%的退票费。
d.
出发前
24小时内
取消机票,需支付票价

(2)拉萨火车票
往返拉萨的火车票取消:取消费
为成功预订票金额的
50% 。

火车票网对任何错过火车的乘客不承担任何责任。旅客可以在火车站柜台自行将车票改签至下一趟可用的列车。
否则,车票不再有效,乘客无法从中国铁路总公司或中国火车票订票处获得退款。
- 大多数火车站的售票窗口24/7开放。
- 建议旅客在出发前1小时到达火车站并携带个人有效证件办理乘机手续。
- 公共假期和周末,我们建议您在出发前1.5-2小时到达火车站。
- 普通旅客:20公斤(44磅)
- 半票儿童票:年满6周岁且未满14周岁的应当购买儿童优惠票;年满14周岁,应当购买全价票。每一名持票成年人旅客可免费携带一名未满6周岁且不单独占用席位的儿童乘车,超过一名时,超过人数应当购买儿童优惠票。儿童年龄按乘车日期计算。
- 每件物品的总长度不能超过160厘米,除非是杆状的。
- 注:轮椅不受上述限制,轮椅可免费带上火车。
- 对于一些无法控制的情况可能会中断您的旅行体验,我们深感抱歉。但因以下不可控情况导致无法取票的, 中铁订票不承担任何责任:
(一)因铁路、车站建设、运营部署或列车车厢、座位临时调整而未事先通知座位调整及价格差异的。
(二) 某些列车路线可能会取消,恕不另行通知。
(三)情节严重是否造成列车停运的。
